| Bibliography, etc | ગાંધીજીના જીવનની કથા ચિત્રો વાટે કહેતું આ પુસ્તક છે. આપણા રાષ્ટ્રપિતા એક સાવ સામાન્ય બાળક હતા. જીવનના ખાડાખડિયાવાળા માર્ગે એમની મજલ ચાલી. દક્ષિણ આફ્રિકામાં એમના વ્યક્તિત્વનો ઘડતરકાળ વીત્યો અને ત્યાં જોતજોતામાં એ લોકોના આગેવાન બન્યા. સાદગી અને સત્યમય જીવનના અનેક અખતરાઓ કરીને જ્યારે હિંદુસ્તાન આવ્યા ત્યારે દેશના કરોડો લોકોના માનીતા એ ‘ગાંધીજી’ બન્યા. હિંદુસ્તાનને અહિંસક માર્ગે આઝાદી અપાવી એ એમનો પ્રયોગ ઈતિહાસમાં અનોખો છે. પોતાના હૈયાના એ હારને કરોડોએ ‘બાપુ’ કહ્યા. દેશને આઝાદી મળી એ પછી થોડા મહિનામાં જ એમણે નિર્વાણપંથે પ્રયાણ કર્યું. અદના ‘મોહન’માંથી કરોડો ભારતવાસીઓના ‘બાપુ’ બનનાર એ મહાન જીવનની કથા આ પુસ્તકમાં કહેવાઈ છે. કિશોરો-યુવાનોને તો ગમશે જ, પણ સહુ કોઈને રસ પડે એવી આ ચોપડી છે. |
